 Silica sand is a silica grain formed by the crushing and processing of quartz stone. Quartz is a kind of non-metallic mineral, and a hard, wear-resisting, chemical stable silicate mineral. Its main mineral composition is SIO2. Silica sand is milky white, or colorless translucent. Its hardness is 7 in Mohs. Silica sand is an important industrial mineral raw material, and is not hazardous chemical. It is widely used in glass, foundry, ceramic and fireproof material, smelting ferrosilicon, metallurgical flux, metallurgy, construction, chemical, plastic, rubber, abrasive, filter material and other industries.

  Technical process  

   Firstly, quartz stone is initially crushed by coarse jaw crusher. Then, coarse materials are transported to fine crusher by belt conveyor for further crushing. The broken stones enter vibrating screen and are divided into two kinds of stones. Stones that meet the feeding size enter sand making machine to make sand, and the other part return to fine crusher. Sands that enter sand making machine are partly made into sand. After cleaned by sand washer (optional), they are made into finished sand. Another part of sands enter sand making machine to be crushed again.
