Product Introduction
Petroleum coke is black solid coke generated when the vacuum residuum of oil cracks and cokes under 500~550℃ through coking unit. Its appearance is black or dark gray honeycomb structure. The pores in coke blocks are elliptical and interpenetrating and are widely used in smelting and chemical industry. The biggest user of petroleum coke in the world is cement industry, and the second is to be used to produce pre-baked anode for aluminum smelting and graphite electrodes for steel making after petroleum coke is calcinated.
Process Flow
The petroleum coke is crushed by the crusher, and then is dried by the dryer (some don’t). Finally, it is ground powerfully by grinding machine to make petroleum coke powder that meets customer’s requirement. Then the powder is injected into the furnace in a quantitative, continuous, uniform and stead way by delivery system for burning. The burning temperature of petroleum coke powder in a glass furnace can reach or approach the flaming temperature of heavy oil combustion (1650-1730 degrees).
