Product Introduction
Iron, with a mohs hardness of 8.5, is found in nature in the compound form and most of them exist as iron oxide. Several major iron ores are magnetite, hematite,limonite and siderite. One of the important usages of iron ore is for steel production which also is the largest consumption application of iron ore. Iron ore is widely used involving cosmetics, coating, link and dye, etc.
Process Flow
Iron ore is fed to jaw crusher by vibrating feeder for coarse crushing then the crushed materials are sent to impact crusher or cone crusher by belt conveyor for further crushing. And unqualified materials are delivered back to the impact crusher or the cone crusher by belt conveyor, forming closed cycle. Iron powders of 0-12mm screened by vibrating screen are delivered to ball mill for grinding and then are classified by spiral classifier, and unqualified powders are grinded further while qualified powders are delivered to the magnetic separator to receive strong magnetic separation, and the final iron powders are delivered to dryer to become iron concentrates.
